⚙️WHAT THIS MOD DOES

Ever wonder why your teenage Zois can't work? In vanilla InZoi, for the most part only Young Adults can get jobs. This mod fixes that. Simple version: Your teens can now work at all different jobs. The catch: They'll have to drop out of school to work (InZoi only allows 1 job at a time, and school counts as a job). But don't worry, they can always quit and go back to school later.

Note: You might see a higher base salary pay on the screenshots attached on the mod page but that's because I am using my other mod: Enhanced Salaries however you don't need to have my other mod installed if you don't which to do so. This mod will work just fine without it - I highly recommend for you to check it out though.

❓WHY USE THIS MOD

• Let your teens earn money instead of sitting at home
• All jobs unlocked (part-time + full-time jobs)
• Works for all ages — teens through seniors can all work
• Zero lag, zero conflicts with other mods(unless they also modify anything related to jobs)

🔧HOW IT WORKS

The game treats school as a "job" — your Zoi can only have one job at a time. So if your teen gets hired, they automatically quit school. Simple as that. Want them back in school? Just quit the job and re-enroll them. They can switch between work and school anytime. About Career Jobs: For professional careers like Law Firm or University, teens can only apply to entry-level positions. They'll need to earn promotions to climb the ladder — just like in real life.

📂INSTALLATION

Requirements: • A copy of the game.

1. Download the mod files 2. Extract to: Documents/inZOI/Mods/ <-- Place here 3. Enable in the game's main menu mod manager 4. Play — Changes apply immediately.

🎮USAGE

To Make a Teenager Work:

1. Select a teenage Zoi (HighTeen age)
2. Open the phone/career menu
3. Browse available jobs
4. Apply for any job of your choice from the ones available(all).

Result: Teen quits school automatically and starts working. To Return to School:

1. Select the working teen
2. Open career menu
3. Choose "Quit Job"
4. Re-enroll in school via education menu

🛞COMPATIBILITY

• Game Version: Latest game version compatible as of November 17th, 2025.
• Mod Format: JsonPatch (non-intrusive)
• Conflicts: Very low risk; compatible with most mods unless they modify data related to the jobs directly.
• Save Compatibility: Full backward/forward compatibility.
• Safe to Remove: Yes; teenagers simply lose job access.

🦖KNOWN BEHAVIORS

Expected:

• Teenagers working will not attend school (1 job limit)
• Teens can switch between work/school freely
• Career progression works normally within age limits
• Wages are standard (not modified) although I highly recommend to use together with my other mod: Enhanced Salaries 

Limitations:

• Cannot work AND study simultaneously (engine limitation)
• Some promotions require aging up (Adult-only ranks)
• No teen-specific dialogue/animations (vanilla limitation)

🛠️TROUBLESHOOTING

Q: My teenager still can't apply for jobs A: Verify the mod is enabled, teen is HighTeen age (not LowTeen), and game has been restarted Q: Why did my teenager drop out of school? A: This is expected. InZoi only allows 1 job per Zoi. School counts as a job. Q: Can they work part-time while studying? A: No. This would require engine-level changes beyond JsonPatch capabilities. Q: Why can't my teen become a senior lawyer? A: Career companies only allow entry-level access. Senior positions require promotions. Q: Does this restrict older Zois from working? A: No. Age range is HighTeen→Old. All age groups can still work.
